Metaplanet will be included in the MSCI Japan Index
The Golden Finance reported that Simon Gerovich, CEO of the listed company Metaplanet in Japan, revealed that the company will be officially included in the MSCI Japan Index after the close on February 28, 2025. As a well-known BTC financial company in Asia, Meta Planet's selection this time marks the mainstream market recognition of its BTC strategy. Simon said that the inclusion will bring three positive impacts to Meta Planet: first, it will significantly enhance the company's visibility among global investors; second, passive funds and ETFs tracking the MSCI index will automatically allocate the stock, bringing new capital inflows; finally, the inclusion also proves the company's market position and business strategy are recognized.
