Golden Finance reported that Messari released the LayerZero Q2 2024 Status Report, with 12 new networks supported by LayerZero, facilitating the transfer of $5 billion in encrypted assets, with the average value of each transfer increasing by 78% to over $400. The transfer volume on the Ethereum network increased by 26% compared to the previous period, reaching $913 million, mainly due to the drop in gas fees after the Dencun upgrade and the introduction of full-chain staking. On June 20, LayerZero airdropped ZRO tokens to 1.28 million eligible wallets, employing anti-Sybil attack measures and a donation proof mechanism. In the second quarter, LayerZero supported the deployment of over 50,000 On-chain Applications (OApps) contracts, covering various fields such as games, decentralized finance, AI, and more. LayerZero currently supports secure communication for over 80 networks, providing interoperability solutions for On-chain Applications.
