A key member of Aave bets 50,000 USD that Polygon (POL) will fall
Marc Zeller, a key member of Aave, believes that when an issuance ecosystem adds a second token, the total market capitalization of both is usually lower than the original market capitalization of the original token. He cites the example of Polygon launching POL and Katana Network soon issuing KAT, predicting that the total market capitalization of POL and KAT in the future will be lower than the original market capitalization of POL.
This statement has left Polygon Labs CEO, Marc Boiron, dissatisfied. After a heated debate, both parties agreed to bet $50,000 that on Christmas Eve, the market capitalization of POL and KAT will be lower than the POL capitalization at the time Katana announces the plan for KAT issuance.
