Trump Media Bets on Artificial Intelligence: Truth Social to Launch Its Own AI Search Engine

Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) is making bold moves to expand its tech portfolio. On Wednesday, the company confirmed it had filed two trademark applications — “Truth Social AI” and “Truth Social AI Search” — signaling its intent to integrate artificial intelligence into the Truth Social platform.

According to CEO Devin Nunes, the AI initiative is designed to turn Truth Social into a hub for reliable information, real-time news, and entertainment. However, no specific product details or launch timeline have yet been shared. 🔹 Truth Social currently has around 6.3 million users, which is modest compared to Facebook’s 3.1 billion monthly active users as of 2023. 🔹 On Wednesday, Trump Media’s stock rose 5.5%, outperforming the Nasdaq index. Still, the company remains financially challenged, reporting a $31.7 million net loss in Q1 2025, with $8.8 million in revenue, mostly from ads.
