PANews August 12 news, according to The Block data, CME Ethereum futures July volume reached a historic high of $118 billion, a rise of 82% month-on-month. The open interest scale surged from 2.97 billion USD in June to 5.21 billion USD, an increase of 75%. In addition, the total trading volume of global Ethereum futures reached 2.12 trillion USD in July, a year-on-year increase of 38%, surpassing the historical high of 1.87 trillion USD in May 2021. The price of Ethereum broke through 4300 USD on August 9, the highest level since December 2021, and Google search volume also hit a new high since June 2022.
