Polygon Q2 report: Daily active addresses rise 47.6%, launching $1 billion community grant program
BlockBeats News, on July 28th, Messari released the Polygon Q2 2024 report, with the following key points: Daily active Addresses reached 1.2 million (a rise of 47.6% compared to the previous period), with a daily average volume of 4.1 million (a rise of 3.9% compared to the previous period). Gaming continues to maintain its leading position in Q1 2024. The average transaction fee on the Polygon PoS has dropped to $0.01, a decrease of 41.1% compared to the previous period. EIP-4844 was implemented on the Polygon PoS Mainnet in Q1 2024. Polygon Labs has integrated zkVM SP1, built on Plonky3, to generate pessimistic proofs for AggLayer, ensuring the security of Cross-Chain Interaction asset transfers. The launch of the $1 billion Community Grant Program (CGP) to support developers and projects in the Polygon ecosystem. CGP will distribute 100 million POL Tokens annually for the next ten years.
