BofA Analyst: Dollar May Stay Strong in the Short Term

Jinshi Data January 23 news, analysts at Bank of America said in a report that the dollar is likely to remain at a high level in the first half of the year and then gradually fall from the valuation of historical highs. They said that US President Donald Trump's trade tariff policy still suggests the dollar's strength in the short term. They said that due to concerns about the sustainability of US inflation, the Federal Reserve is likely to stop cutting interest rates in the foreseeable future. Bank of America expects the euro against the US dollar EUR/USD to fall to 1.03 in the first quarter, then rise to 1.05 in the second quarter, and rise to 1.10 in the fourth quarter.
