Abstract generation in progress

Odaily Planet Daily News Canadian Montreal Bank (BMO) Capital Market US Intrerest Rate strategist Ian Lyngen and Vail Hartman said that we are all very clear that as Trump continues to improve US trade policy, the overall direction of US Intrerest Rate may quickly change. Fed Chairman Powell's testimony on Tuesday will be noteworthy as we will learn how he describes the announced tariff measures and whether these measures are more likely to be responded to by FOMC through monetary policy. Our view remains that the larger the increase in tariffs, the greater the likelihood that Powell will postpone normalization until later this year. (Jinshi)
