CoinVoice has learned that according to Digital Asset, Yuanta Card applied for multiple stablecoin-related trademarks with the Korean Intellectual Property Office on July 10, 2025, including "WCKRW," "WCWON," and "WONWC." This makes it the third credit card company to enter the stablecoin space, following Shinhan Card and KB Kookmin Card.

In this application, the products designated by Youli Card include downloadable software for stablecoins. The potential applications of stablecoins as a means of payment are being widely discussed, and the credit card industry has shown great interest in this.

It is worth noting that Woori Bank, under the Woori Financial Group, applied for multiple stablecoin trademarks on July 7, indicating the active layout of the five major financial holding companies in the stablecoin market.
