On July 31, Bloomberg reported that Eric Trump, the second son of President Donald Trump, holds a significant stake in American Bitcoin, a company he co-founded with others in March this year. According to securities filings submitted on Tuesday, in a planned merger, his equity will convert into approximately 367 million shares of the NASDAQ-listed Gryphon Digital Mining Inc. Gryphon's stock price on Thursday was about $1, and his shares could be worth $367 million when they go public in the coming weeks. The merged company will be named American Bitcoin.
