The 1,000% XRP post by Ripple's CEO excites the community.
In a recent social media post, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse emphasized that he is "1,000% committed to the future of XRP."
This statement was made after the Digital Asset Buy account - an influential figure in the XRP community suggested that getting a tattoo over the age of 50 and holding an MBA from Harvard University ( like Garlinghouse ) is an undeniable sign of sustainable and steadfast support.
"I know many people get tattoos when they are young and later regret it because life changes. But if a person with an MBA from Harvard gets a tattoo after the age of 50, then they have definitely thought it through and believe that the future can only change positively," this person shared on social media X.
A former Yahoo executive revealed an XRP-themed tattoo with planetary patterns in 2023, after U.S. District Judge Analisa Torres ruled that secondary transactions related to this token do not constitute an investment contract.
The tattoo inked on Garlinghouse's right arm also includes the date of the landmark ruling: 07/13/2023.
However, it should also be noted that tattoos related to cryptocurrency can sometimes backfire. The CEO of Galaxy – Mike Novogratz drew attention when he showcased a Luna-themed tattoo in early 2022, just a few months before this coin completely collapsed.
At the beginning of this year, Galaxy Digital had to pay a fine of up to 200 million dollars related to the Luna crisis.
The lawsuit between the SEC and Ripple has finally ended
As reported, Garlinghouse recently confirmed that Ripple will withdraw its cross-appeal against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). With the SEC also expected to take a similar action, this means that the prolonged legal battle has officially come to an end.
