Abstract generation in progress

Illegitimate money transfer orders have been recorded from reserve accounts to commercial bank accounts linked to the OTC exchange and local exchanges. At least 30–40 million USD has been converted into Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT within just 3 hours after the attack.

The Central Bank of Brazil has requested all organizations using the C&M service to disconnect urgently. Authorities have frozen 270 million reais (49.8 million USD) and are searching for 4 other suspects.

Money laundering transactions extend through Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay, using OTC exchanges to legitimize the funds. The federal police of Brazil are coordinating with the exchanges to freeze related accounts and continue the investigation under federal oversight.
