"Looking back on the past, my life experience is rich and colorful. I have obtained two master's degrees and am currently pursuing a doctorate. I have lived in seven cities across four continents, going through eight years as a senior manager and eight years as a cyclical entrepreneur." When discussing the topic of "growth," she spoke eloquently, her eyes sparkling with wisdom. "My life has always been about bidding farewell to the past. Whenever I ask myself, 'If life remains unchanged, should I make a change?' usually by then, I already have the answer in my heart. In fact, the few key turning points in our lives often occur unexpectedly. To find the fundamental driving force behind these turning points, we need to wisely recognize our limitations during significant periods of change and bravely say goodbye to our past selves, facing the unknown future with composure."

Broaden Horizons, Shape Worldview

"I often share a saying with my friends: 'How can one talk about their worldview without having seen the world?'" She continued, "The ancients taught us 'Read thousands of books, travel thousands of miles, and make friends from all directions.' In reality, what we see, yearn for, and the heights we achieve—our careers, wealth, and relationships—constitute our world."

Talking about the turning points in life, she recalled: "In the past ten years, from the perspective of values, studying, working, and settling in the United States has been an important turning point in my life. It has helped me reshape a value system based on multiculturalism, inclusiveness, freedom, and equality. This has allowed me to follow my heart and do the right thing in my subsequent life choices, without confusion or worry. From a career perspective, entering the Web3 industry and meeting a group of outstanding entrepreneurial partners is another important turning point. It has opened a fast track for a Chinese immigrant in a foreign land, and it has made me more determined and composed on the path to becoming a circular entrepreneur. Now returning to Hong Kong to start a business and study, I know that this will be an exciting new starting point. 'Having traveled half a lifetime, I return still a youth.' I still maintain honesty and sincerity, my ambition remains, but now I understand this world better and possess stronger capabilities. I aspire to undertake greater endeavors and believe that I can certainly do better."

Dare to challenge, break through oneself

When asked about "the challenges faced by female leaders," she shared: "People often say that humility and gentleness are virtues of women, but in workplace competition, these qualities do not always bring advantages. It is important to understand that in work, what suits us best is often the work that we can only handle half of. Only in this way do we have room to learn and improve, eventually becoming fully competent. If you feel that your competence in your current job has reached 90%, then it is time to consider seeking change and pursuing more challenging opportunities. Whether or not you feel fully capable of taking on higher positions or leading new projects, you should bravely move forward and challenge yourself."

"The true opponent in life is oneself." This may be the driving force behind her repeated courage to change. From traditional industries to Web3, from a professional manager to a serial entrepreneur, from New York to Hong Kong, she has never stopped moving forward and will not limit herself because of her gender. On the contrary, she believes that the Web3 industry offers more opportunities for women.

"Compared to traditional industries, the Web3 sector is more open, providing more opportunities for women in the workplace to enter high-level positions. If you have made achievements in a specific professional field, such as product design, marketing operations, data analysis, or financial management, joining early and maintaining fast learning and growth significantly increases your chances of becoming an industry pioneer or corporate executive. Additionally, it is worth mentioning that the Web3 sector tends to offer flexible work arrangements, which helps women better balance work and family responsibilities. After working in Hong Kong, I found that the working women here are independent, career-oriented, highly educated, and financially strong." She added, "However, in the context of Eastern culture, most men take the pursuit of wealth and power for granted, viewing their careers as essential. Women, on the other hand, need to better manage the issue of multiple roles, constantly seeking balance between family and career. This requires them to be braver in being themselves and adeptly managing multiple roles."

Passion and Achievement: The Best Investment of Time

Speaking about achievements and plans, she smiled and said: "I like the word 'plan', but I am not keen on making plans. Because mere planning is not enough; what is more important is achieving results. In our lifetime, time is the most precious resource. By being goal-oriented and managing resources and energy wisely, we can make the most of our time." She went on to add: "Our company achieved commendable results in 2024, with business growing tenfold and valuation doubling. Over the past year, we found the right strategy and positioning for the business, and we excelled in both marketing and conference services. This is the result of the collective effort of the entire team."

"If we talk about career and life goals for 2025," she continued, "the following points will definitely rank in the top three on my list: First, ensure the steady implementation of the company's innovative technology business line, achieving at least 100% revenue growth and 200% valuation growth; second, during my pursuit of a PhD, systematically organize and update my theoretical knowledge framework and apply it to Web3 business practice cases; finally, during my time in Hong Kong, I hope to have more time to spend with my mother."

When it comes to personal hobbies, her answer is equally impressive: "Focus and simplicity are my secrets to a happy life, allowing more time for important things. Deep reading and independent thinking are essential; communicating with highly knowledgeable people from different regions and cultural backgrounds is also important, and these are worth allocating some time to; no matter how busy I am, I maintain a relatively fixed workout schedule, as good physical condition helps me maintain higher energy and efficiency."
