Digital Trading Cards Series Four: America First

Recently, Trump has launched a new series of digital collectibles. This is yet another attempt by Trump in the NFT space less than a month after the previous series was a hot seller.

On the evening of August 27, Trump announced the launch of the fourth series of digital trading cards on social media. This series, titled "America First," includes 50 different digital cards themed around Trump's image, featuring his dance moves and a photo of him holding Bitcoin, among others. These NFTs will be minted on the Polygon blockchain, with a total expected to reach 360,000.

This sale offers various purchasing options. A single card is priced at $99, and purchasing 5 cards will earn you an additional pair of specially designed sneakers. Higher tier packages include more unique rewards. For example, purchasing 15 NFTs ($1485) will grant you a piece of a suit worn by Trump, as well as signed sneakers. For large buyers, the package of 75 NFTs ($7425) provides the opportunity to have dinner with Trump. The highest tier package of 250 NFTs ($24750) includes VIP dinner tickets, the chance to have cocktails with Trump, and a limited edition Bitcoin inscription NFT.

In a video release, Trump stated: "At the request of the public, we have launched a new series of digital trading cards. This is a fun project. Many people call me the cryptocurrency president, although I'm not sure about that label, but I have indeed heard many people say it."

It is worth noting that while Trump has made a substantial profit from the NFT business, this income does not count towards his political fundraising. According to the latest financial disclosures, Trump's NFT business has brought him over $1 million in cryptocurrency income.

However, Trump's earlier series of NFTs have performed poorly in the secondary market. As of August 28, the floor price for the first series of digital trading cards was $206.62, a decline of 35.86% over the past 30 days. The second and third series experienced similar declines of 37.48% and 24.57%, respectively.

Nevertheless, Trump is actively preparing for the upcoming election. He has confirmed that he will participate in the debate with the Vice President on September 10 and plans to appoint new co-chairs for the transition team to enhance his appeal to voters.

Currently, Trump is lagging behind his opponent in fundraising. Reports indicate that the funds raised by the opponent in July were four times that of Trump. As of the end of July, Trump's campaign team also had lower cash reserves than his opponent.

In the face of this situation, the Trump team stated that they are prepared for the final sprint in November. However, some supporters have expressed concerns about Trump's campaign strategy, believing there is a lack of a clear agenda and strong action.
