BlackRock's Bitcoin open interest may surpass Satoshi Nakamoto, with IBIT daily acquiring 1300 BIT.
[Coin World] ETF analyst Eric Balchunas posted on social media that BlackRock currently holds nearly 700,000 Bitcoin, just 38% away from surpassing Satoshi Nakamoto to become the world's largest single holder of Bitcoin. (If all Bitcoin ETFs are considered as a whole management entity, they have already surpassed Satoshi Nakamoto). BlackRock's Bitcoin Spot ETF - IBIT, is currently absorbing Bitcoin at a rate of 40,000 per month (approximately 1,300 per day), and is expected to reach 1.2 million in Holdings by May 2026.
