Sui will hold the first Game Summit during GDC to explore new possibilities for Web3 gaming.
Sui plans to hold its first major gaming event during the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco this March, showcasing its support capabilities for various games and providing developers with new player interaction features. The one-day event, titled "Play Beyond: Sui Gaming Summit," will take place near the conference and will comprehensively explore how Sui enhances the gaming experience by driving player-driven economies and innovative gaming models.
As one of the fastest platforms in the blockchain space, Sui makes large-scale Web3 games possible while providing players with a smooth experience. Its scalable architecture also helps reduce infrastructure costs for developers and players. Sui's technology also brings unique on-chain features to games, such as dynamically updatable NFTs and a royalty enforcement mechanism for IP-related assets, giving publishers special control over in-game assets and creating a limited ownership experience between developers and players.
The summit will be held concurrently with the main GDC conference, featuring speeches, discussions, development workshops, and live game demonstrations. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with partners who have already benefited from Sui's innovations and explore the future development direction of the gaming industry.
The detailed agenda and list of speakers for the event will be announced soon. This free event will take place on March 19th from 11 AM to 4 PM at 40 O'Farrell Street, San Francisco, just two blocks away from the GDC venue.
The Sui Network mainnet is officially running, and its community ecosystem is developing in an orderly manner. As an important platform in this field, Sui is attracting the attention of game developers. With the continuous expansion of the ecosystem, multiple companies related to Sui are currently actively recruiting to promote the further development of the project.
