#WEMIX# Wemix, "The KRW stablecoin verification will be completed by the end of August"... announced the expansion of the alliance Mainnet.
The WEMIX Foundation announced that it will fully launch a stablecoin system based on KRW and plans to complete the proof of concept (PoC) by the end of August. WEMIX Foundation CEO Kim Seok-hwan stated, "We have already begun deploying the minting, redemption, and destruction systems necessary for the stablecoin internally, and we will complete the front-end and back-end systems, firmware bank integration, and multi-mainnet issuance architecture by August."
It is worth mentioning that Wemix has settled cryptocurrency donations to beneficiaries in KRW through the existing blockchain donation platform "WePublic" and achieved commercialization. Since Wemix already has the infrastructure to automatically convert cryptocurrency into KRW, the potential for technological synergy is very high. Jin Dae-bok explained that integrating with stablecoins is technically not difficult, stating, "The donation conversion system has been running in real-time on the backend."
In addition, the verification system adopts a "Alliance Mainnet" structure that supports multi-chain issuance and redemption, rather than a single-chain structure. The WEMIX 3.0 Mainnet was initially designed in an alliance form and laid the foundation for the participation of various minting partners while operating the testnet. The CEO of Jin stated: "We are integrating the wallet and management system of the minting partners so that they can directly operate a system that issues stablecoins when KRW is deposited and returns KRW when it is redeemed."
As discussions about the institutionalization of the KRW stablecoin heat up, the market is paying attention to WEMIX for taking the lead in building a mature framework. Notably, unlike many projects that remain at the simple trademark registration or conceptual design stage, WEMIX is recognized as one of the few projects that possesses full-cycle blockchain technology.
In the future, Wemix has the potential to participate as a key technology contributor in the establishment of a stablecoin alliance based on its own technology. The representative stated: "This is not just a simple expression of intent; we are preparing by building and validating actual code," thus whether it can be established as a standardized model is of great concern.
