The CLARITY Act is self-explanatory; it aims to define which digital assets fall under the ( SEC ) regulatory scope and which fall under the ( CFTC ) regulatory scope; this will address a long-standing debate that has existed in the industry for years. However, regarding the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act, its content indeed aligns with its name ( anti-surveillance ), but it also merits closer examination, primarily because the proposed bill deviates significantly from the federal government's previous stance on central bank digital currency ( CBDC ).
