Spent several hours yesterday reviewing the recent memes that came out.
Share your feelings:
1. It's a bit boring. Whether it's 4chan or Elon Musk's calls, they are actually just repetitive themes being rehashed. One can only say that the market is not only out of funds but also out of creativity. However, from a profit-making perspective, there's nothing wrong with it. This includes my own involvement in the construction of bnbchain, $u and $bmp, which are also a kind of historical repetition.
2. After looking at many of the new car heads captured in this round, I feel they are very strong. Many have already started using AI to help themselves scan and monitor the blockchain, and it has become a more professional environment where players are competing with each other.
3. Recently, I feel that the two-stage logic of sol pve that everyone used to advocate may not necessarily hold. The previous pve logic was that it could take off, and it was fine to lose 10, but now the height of the two-stage pve is actually limited. Theoretically, it has become that earning 1 can only protect 4 to return to 0, and the odds have worsened. Therefore, from a profit-making perspective, the winning rate without monitoring the chain has decreased significantly.
Based on the above points, I can basically conclude that players like me from web2 are now finding it very difficult to play on Solana. In the past, it was really possible to drink while playing, but now playing like this only results in losing money. Additionally, with my own startup, I indeed have less time on the chain, so the way to play can only be adjusted:
1. Go to a slower and more stable place to play, like bnbchain and the new chain $sei (recently $mad) is comfortable;
2. The research and investment team needs a strategic upgrade, and I am ready to whip my little assistant @0xWilllove, considering the implementation of a bounty program;
In fact, playing on the blockchain now is not just about making money for me; more importantly, it’s about staying energetic. In the past, I was passionately competing with younger players, and at the very least, I was among the same generation of post-90s. Recently, I’ve mostly been with new friends from the post-70s generation. Back then, our topics were about blockchain; now, our topics are about golf and wine. I feel like the elderly aura around me has become heavier, but this is the inevitable result of the historical spiral of rising. When emerging industries need to break through further, extending an olive branch to the old forces and combining with them becomes a necessary choice.
I remember a phrase from a big guy when I was hesitating whether to start a business: "Don't let anything become a ceiling in your life, including the field of career and personal relationships; the blockchain is just a stepping stone in your life."
