According to a report by IT House on July 8, at the recently held 2023 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, Tencent Multimedia Lab exhibited XMusic, a self-developed AI general composition framework. According to Tencent's official statement, this composition framework is suitable for video editing soundtracks, the selection of ambient music in supermarket venues, and many scenarios such as interactive entertainment, auxiliary creation, music education, interactive entertainment, and music therapy.
XMusic is known as a personal "walking music library". Users can use pictures, texts, videos and even hum to make XMusic generate corresponding music. In addition, Tencent also demonstrated another usage scenario of XMusic: music class teachers can use XMusic to generate a variety of beat, rhythm, and pitch practice tracks, combined with actual teaching scenarios, to play the teaching assistance ability of AI-generated music.
