XRP Ledger development and support team RippleX provided updates on the progress of the XLS-30d, which aims to add AMM capability to XRPL. Last year, the RippleX team proposed the XLS-30d technical specification to create an integrated protocol native automated market maker (AMM) with an orderbook-based DEX on the XRP Ledger.
In November 2022, the XLS-30d went live on devnet and is currently in testing. According to a blog post by RippleX, devnet has made significant strides in community testing and development since its launch.
Hundreds of AMM pools have been created on Devnet and many more wallets have been connected to test its functionality. AMM support has also been added by the RippleX team for three client libraries (xrpl.js, xrpl-py and xrpl4j) and xrpl.org explorer.
