Fed Governor Bowman Sees Inflation Risks, Considering Gradual Interest Rate Cuts

According to BlockBeats, on August 21, Federal Reserve Governor Michelle Bowman expressed ongoing concerns about inflationary pressures. She stated that it would be appropriate for the Federal Reserve to start gradually lowering interest rates if the pace of price increases continues to slow down.
Bowman noted that a gradual reduction in the federal funds rate would be appropriate to prevent monetary policy from becoming overly restrictive if future data consistently show that inflation is moving toward the Fed's 2% target. She acknowledged some progress in reducing inflation in recent months, but warned of ongoing upward risks due to increasing geopolitical tensions, additional fiscal stimulus measures, and increased housing demand resulting from migration.
Bowman also noted that the labor market continues to loosen and there are signs that it is moving towards a better balance. This observation indicates that the labor market is set to support the Fed's efforts to manage inflation without causing excessive economic strain. #ContentStar# #GateioInto11# #BTC#
