Forbes reporter: The U.S. Department of Justice has clarified its interpretation of the laws regarding currency transmission licenses.
Golden Finance reported that Forbes journalist Eleanor Terrett posted on the X platform stating that after the Decentralized Finance Education Fund (DeFiEducationFund) sent a letter to crypto assets and artificial intelligence czar David Sacks on Monday morning, the U.S. Department of Justice clarified its interpretation of the laws regarding money transmission licenses. The letter urged the White House to protect the rights of DeFi developers, signed by industry giants such as Cameron Winklevoss, Tyler Winklevoss, Brian Armstrong, Chris Dixon, Matt Huang, Kyle Samani, and Arjun Sethi.
