According to official news, Aptos Labs announced the launch of Shardines, the next generation of blockchain execution engine, aiming to achieve horizontal scalability and over 1 million TPS. It is reported that the blockchain execution engine can be scaled independently of consensus and storage. This allows validator operators to optimize resources and enhance system flexibility. Shardines uses a dynamic partitioner to minimize cross-shard network communication and waiting time, adapting to constantly changing workloads.
